Jimmy Cain was born and raised in Huntsville, Texas. During his early teen years, his family moved to Batesville, MS and began to attend the First Pentecostal Church of Batesville. Shortly thereafter, the entire family was baptized in Jesus name and received the Holy Ghost. Returning from the army in 1966, Jimmy married his next door neighbor, Betty. Since that time they have been blessed with three daughters, five grand-sons one grand-daughter and one great-grandson. During the 23 years preceding his entrance into the field of ministry, Jimmy pursued a career in auto body repair and management. His wife, Betty, a Registered Nurse, continues in her field of labor at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS. Before moving to Madison County, Jimmy and his wife, Betty, served as assistant pastor, and then Pastor, of a church in Senatobia, MS. In November of 1990, they began to work with Pastor Jerry W. Dillon in Canton, MS as youth pastor. Upon the inception of Parkway Pentecostal Church in Madison, MS, Bro. Jimmy Cain became the assistant pastor under Pastor Jerry W. Dillon, and currently serves also as an assistant pastor to Rev. Jason W. Dillon and is a key member of the Parkway administrative team. Although his primary ministry is hospital ministry, he and his wife also direct the sound, media and hostess departments at Parkway. After 21 years of working with Pastor Jerry W. Dillon, Bro. Jimmy Cain and his wife have no doubt that they have been in the will of God, and will continue to see great things accomplished in Madison at Parkway Pentecostal Church.
